It's clearly designed to shock, and is succeeding. The advertising blog Copyranter called it "one of the sleaziest car ads ever," and noted that it doesn't even visualize the benefits of dual climate control very well.

It might not promote pedophilia - but the ad certainly conveys it. Even the text "how about anatomy" is sexually suggestive. Where do you think the next two cells will lead?

But, companies try to push the envelope like this all the time. Because it's in the news like this, they will consider the ad a success. Any publicity is good publicity. If you think that this is just a coincidence and the company didn't want this sort of reaction, you're very much mistaken.

Promoting pedo? Probably depends on one's interpretation of the ad, I suppose. If you view the right side as the teacher's viewpoint, then probably so. If you view the right side as the child's viewpoint, then probably not.
