- M16 ejection port is on the right side in BF3.
thx guy
Better be, otherwise the game is rueweened.
why, was the bf2 m16's ejection port on the left side?
Looks like shifty is buying the game then, seeing as all needs are now met.

Maybe not.
There's gotta be something for him to -Sh1tfy- at.
I agree with the holo sight bit. I don't remember BC2 displaying that the same way. As it is, it's not serving much of a purpose while not aiming down the sight so either it's just an overlooked technicality and will be fixed later or was added as a design decision after people complained about not being able to see it all the time.

...because it's SOOOOOO freaking hard for an amateur company like DICE to get their hands on REAL weapons and model them correctly.

Someone should moan about his grammar not being perfect.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Maybe they should just go airsofting then. I heard that airsoft is as close a simulation of a real life combat scenario as you can get.
haha I remember that DS.

That's like buying cereal and complaining about the cardboard box it came in. Good to see you have your priorities sorted.
*sigh* Jeakus
It takes less effort to model it correctly than to just guess where stuff is and try to model it. Having a model to go by is easier.

Of course. I just find it weird that the issue of graphical accuracy seems to be more of a priority to you than gameplay.
I mean, I'm not making an issue of the fact you spelled my user title incorrectly, despite it being there for you to copy from.

haha nice post
No man, I really see your point, I do. I don't place the graphics above gameplay, but it's irritating for me when it's not done right. That's all I'm saying, just make it right and everybody's happy.

Just make sure you pass the duchy down the left hand side.

Yes, mon!
Its pre-alpha footage IIRC, theres bound to be some differences.
I never noticed the M16 ejection port in BC2, though I don't really use it much on account of it being pretty average.

iirc the ejection port is fuxxed on most weapons... not that I care.Pubic wrote:

better than CoD in which they omit the ejection port entirely on certain weapons, lol
they really ARE lasers in disguise!

Really? Which weapons did they miss putting ejection pors on? I haven't played the latest Call of Dutys though.Trotskygrad wrote:

stfu -Sh1tfy-, I'm the only one allowed to call it "Call of Duties."

Kinda ironic that the one who complains about ejection ports being on the wrong side has spelling issues.
Cause I studied computer science for a year that's how I would know. Now please be quite.Vilham wrote:

Now look guys, you're all making a huge deal out of my opinion. I know EA could model the gun properly for less work than to go out of their way to make a shiny ejection port on the left side with cartridges flying out and the bolt going back-n-forth.
I'm asking for them to do a good job, and you guys are complaining about this. Sure, it's not the most important aspect of the game, but if done properly with less effort from the start, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Now, EA did it right, we can all stfu and a mod can close this thread.

So you learned 3D-Modeling in CompSci 1?
