Meh...Berbatov is just meh...I know what it's like , you see the goals and you want to believe they are playing well, I lost count of times I tried to say to others that Shevchenko or Torres(last season) wasn't that bad, but unless other fans/neutrals agree for the most part, it usually is not true. I mean he might have scored a few last season but 5 of those came in 1 game lol and he only scored very few important goals, even Fergie doesn't seem to like him...I don't know he's looked pretty shit/uninterested when I've watched him...Just not convinced he's good enough, but very talented no doubt, but you can't say he's exactly lived up to the 30 mil price tag and he's had a while now. He shouldn't lose his place to some mexican kid who just got off the plane last season lol.
