Spotting people I know constantly in GOT, usually as extras. Although a good friend was in it as a whore a few episodes back. Two metal bands we used to share a practice space with are Bolton's boys. They look as greasy and dirty as that in real life.

reading can either be mind-mush entertainment or intellectually enriching. nobody ever went to a certain niche of porn for 'refinement'. it's all the same thing. game of thrones is not ulysses. if you're going to invest time and thought-space into a book, there are indeed many wiser investments than some fantasy series that will likely never be finished or concluded.
