Better than Blair Witch cam.
If that's your only complaint, I'd say Lord of the Rings still wins. The moving camera was done for mood.

So, a whole film about what I found a major annoyance in LOTR? Pass.
Lack of action? Hello? One big ass near invulnerable dragon? Armies of man, elf, dwarf, and orc clashing? First half is slow and "character development", though. Besides, for the most part, there is only one hobbit. And Bilbo wasn't the emo that Frodo was.
Edit: Not orcs, but rather goblin/wargs.
I can't imagine why they split it in half though. The first half of the story is way less interesting and action packed than the second half. I suppose they'll leave off after Bilbo meets Gollum.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
There is no way you'd think the Hobbit had no action in it if you read it. If anything, it was a smoother trip than the following three books. More action, less talk.
Also, as to orcs vs goblins:
"In J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy writings, Orcs or Orks are a race of creatures who are used as soldiers and henchmen by both the greater and lesser villains of The Silmarillion and The Lord of the Rings — Morgoth, Sauron and Saruman. The Orcs also work independently as the common antagonists in The Hobbit, though in that work they are more often called Goblins."

Same thing.
Well guess what I'm going to wait to see on DVD rather than theaters? That's right, Lincoln.Spearhead wrote:
