Do you get any decent Asian beers for cheap?
There are decent Asian beers around (they aren't generally sold on tap though), but there are no beers here that you guys would consider cheap. Asian beer is generally cheaper than European/American beer (depends on brand obviously), but the most reasonably priced beer here is Australian and Australian beer makes up a fair majority of the market.
That said, import beer and microbrews are becoming more popular and are coming down in price and actually starting to compete.

I see a flaw in your theory, right about here---------------------------------^FlemishHCmaniac wrote:

Fuck Israel
I heard a Japanese beer by the name of Orion is pretty good from the tap. General rule about Asian beers: stay away from shit made in China or Taiwan. Korean and Japanese beers are pretty good imo. Korean beer is a tad sweet in general while most Jap beers go for a lot of dryness.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:

Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Good stout. Didn't really taste the chocolate well until it started to warm up. Probably won't buy it again as it's overpriced where I shop.
Drunk as shit on Blue Moons.

Spaten Optimator - 6/10
It's a Doppelbock, so it's dark and has a fair amount of extra hops in it, but not near enough to be a pilsner or an IPA. Just not a huge fan of this beer. Meh.

Coors Light - 2/10
It tastes awful, but the cold activated can is cool and it still provides a means to be classy when playing intramural softball.

Don De Dieu
&
La Fin Du Monde
I couldn't really tell the difference between the two. They were both good though.
Victory Golden Monkey
Similar to the Unibroue. A little more light and maybe more smooth. I prefer the Unibroue over it.
Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Really good. Great stout with a nice oat flavor.

Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot
Barely wine. Taste was alright. 11.1% so pretty strong. Kind of syrupy. I wouldn't go out of my way to drink it again.
Victory Yakima Glory
Strong flavor. Hoppy I guess. Quality, but wasn't really into it.
Victory Storm King
The 1st one I drank seemed kind of thin for a stout. I drank another a few days later and it didn't seem as thin. Who knows, I'd still say it's thin for an imperial stout. Lots of strong flavor as usual. Good, but not my taste.
Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale
Nice brown ale. Tastes good. I wouldn't pay extra just to get it over a Newcastle though.
Stone IPA
Extremely Hoppy. Clean, crisp, smooth. A little too much hops for my taste, but I liked it.
The rest of my La Fin Du Mondes are waiting to be consumed and i'm losing my buzz.

Just tried a friend's home brew cider and ale, he's been working on them both for a while. Both very tasty.
Bought a bottle of this last night for $22
Limited edition and it's all sold out Selling on ebay right now for between $40-90. I bet if I hold it for a year I can get double that.

Drank a few Tsingtaos in China. It's not bad, but I missed my dark beer. When you can't drink the water, there isn't really any other option...darn it all.
Didn't realize it was "the official beer of the NBA" until I saw it on the label. Big ass bottles, too.

Old Rasputin
Decent stout. I guess I could say it's above average.
Trois Pistoles
Good stuff. I don't think I have had anything from Unibroue that I haven't liked, yet.
