12 games for $6 is great.
I don't care how cheap they are. You are going to have to buy it for me if you want me to play some Indy art shit game.
I've only played Dear Esther and Proteus out of that pack. Too bad these bundles aren't available on Steam.AussieReaper wrote:

Number 8 is available. A few decent games there.
Ah well then not bad. I'd probably distribute the default $25 if I grabbed it, but I already have two of the games.
Steams support system fucking sucks. Cannot login to offline mode, can't connect to steam network. Every fucking time I try to log in for the past 6 months. I think I was able to play Civ 5 for a week or so a little while ago but now I can't. I bought Morrowind when it was on sale for 6 bucks and now I cant access any of the games I FUCKING PAID FOR. Fuck me, right?
I guess what Im trying to say is, if bf2s can help, it'd be muhc appreciated. Steams support does not give any clear directions, other people have been bitching about this same problem for months now. I just want my steam back. I think it has something to do with either the router or when it automatically updates

You're not giving much to go with.
What's the exact error you're getting?
Can you log in on another computer/phone (official Steam app)?
Can you log in on another network?
REFINE!

Sometimes Steam has issues starting when a lot of games are installed. I advise going to task manager first, hitting the process tab, starting steam, waiting for steamerrorreport thingy to close, then typing in your password and logging on. Then DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE until the interface comes up.
I'm not sure why they implemented that. Shouldn't they be trying to streamline their software to make it, you know, run smoothly?
I tried what you said newbie. Then I said fuck it and just reinstalled, now it works. Thanks anyways guys. I'll probably need to do it again in 2 weeks
my non steam games disappear from the library
pooppooppooppoop
I have that problem to. The library resets every now and then, losing all your categorization and non-Steam games. Ever been to a movie store where everything was filed alphabetically regardless of genre? Didn't think so. Gave up on that and took to pulling all of Paradox and Popcap games into their own folders (I have a ton of those). Gave up on that too since it's just too much of a pain to keep sorted.Cisse wrote:

If Steam was a bookshelf, it would flip end over end every two weeks and leave your shit on the floor.
Probably. Could've been a fluke. Sometimes my Steam starts without issue, and I've stopped crediting it to anything but pure coincidence.Spearhead wrote:

Because of their Steam Box gaming console/computer thingie obviously.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Oh yeah, that eyesore.
This name may not be new to a lot of you, but it is to me.
So...we have the XBox, XBox 360 and now...the XBox One? Care to make things even more confusing, Microsoft? XBox 720 was a perfectly legitimate name. Did they not want to call it XBox 3 because it would sound "old" like the PS3? Well, "XBox One" is making me think back to freaking 2001.
e1: A pretty minor complaint when viewed at the side of all the other myriad reasons to not buy one, but still.
e2: Yeah, 1440 would sound pretty awkward when it comes time to upgrade consoles, but they could just name it after the year if they don't want to call that XBox 4 and be one number behind Sony. I just hope they've stopped fucking around and will stick with One, Two, Three, etc.

Sony just gave a big fuck you to Microsoft at that presentation. $399 for PS4, no always online DRM, and used games work on any console.
I have been with Sony since the PS1. Have no interest in the PS4 though.
PS3 plays all the Blu-Ray I need it to. I'll get a PS4 when there are games I must play on it.
Like Little Big Planet 4?
Like shadow of the colossus 2
