BF2S Forums BF:BC2 Vietnam Expansion

I'm definitely going to get it, but a 3-day head start doesn't really justify a pre-order, so I'm gonna wait and see if there's a rebate during the Steam holiday sale.
Although, since the publishers/developers decide on the prices, I have my doubts that any EA game will be included in the sale.

Anyway, I'm having great fun with BFBC2 at the moment, even more than on release, since I have a new machine and can finally crank every setting up to the maximum.
Also, Map Pack #7 is very good. (Not really surprising, since it's the first real map pack, not just new modes.)

From what I've seen from the Vietnam trailers, this expansion could really be good.
Heck, the licensed soundtrack with 1960s music alone is worth the €13 in my opinion.

Not to forget the three-wheeled rickshaw thing at the end of the Battle for Hastings trailer.

But I doubt it, I like all the high tech stuff in BC2, and Vietnam won't be the same without "ride of the valkyries" blasting out your speakers for everyone to hear...

BFBC2 Vietnam will have two hours worth of music for you to play out of your vehicles radio.  Have you seen the complete song list and know that Ride of the Valkyries is not one of them?

I looked at the trailer and it looks very similar to BC2 (of course) but with all the high tech stuff I like removed

That flaming map (Vantage point?) looks bloody awesome though...

Yet still... I might get this on sale some day, but there are too many things I dislike for me to pay the full price atm...

e.g. exposed gunners on tanks (tl;dr noone will use the gunner seat, leaving most tanks without engineer support)
flamethrower on tanks & medics (from the trailer it seems like you are completely blind when someone uses it in your general direction x_X)

And I still need to see if maps are infantry based or vehicle based.. the latter beeing a + and the former a -
