Detect life and Detect death. Respectively for living and undead enemies. I don't know if there's one that works on the robots though.

Sorry, I've never actually found either, but my friend have. I actually think one of the shouts gives you detect life. I'm fairly certain they're of the alteration school.

with one handed weapons the perk is called Savage Strike.

with two handed weapons the perk is called Devastating Blow.

I use a shield. Shields are pretty good. You just need the right perks and you're pretty much invulnerable with your shield raised. Shield perks also give you large offensive capacity, the level 100 perk lets you sprint while blocking and turns any enemies you touch into rag dolls.

Found some pretty useful mods:

Craft 5 lockpicks from an iron ingot, another thing to skillgrind with while simultaneously giving you more lockpicks

Arrow crafting

Dragon bone/scale weight reduction

Eligible brides list

Change the weight of leather

Melt equipment into ingots

Actually hidden traps
