I take it you lot aren't too keen on the idea, then? I'm not talking about coming under any sort of rule of another country, just membership of the commonwealth. You wouldn't even have to have the union jack as part of your flag, look at canada for example. You sure you don't want to join?

Sorry to be a pedant, but the grand union actually featured a union jack with diagonal stripes removesd, my design uses a full union jackKaosdad008 wrote:

america can take our spot if they like....
Actually, there are alot of accounts of troops enlisting the aid of local natives to help them find their way, so both sides didn't know, because I'm pretty sure the Japanese didn't stay long enough to actually know the land.Giant_Squid500 wrote:

Your n00b farmers had target practice previously: Indians, wolves and bison...
Your n00b farmers also happened to know the lay of the land and had the support of the second most powerful nation in the world at the time...
WHY COULDN'T THE US of A ASK FOR FREEDOM? We here in Oz did it...
And target practice is nothing like real combat. Besides you were still base raping us.
And in the Gulf War you had numbers, they win everything...EVERYTHING...except for some cases..
if america folds back into the commonwealth the first thing we will do is abolish it and give the crown jewels back to the people. the english monarchy had discriminated against "lower class" citizens for hundreds of years and yet through all that she is still regarded as "upper class". the queen and her people can take their obsession with social class and shove it up their behind. nothing has come out of that palace but scandal and corruption. do you people of the commonwealth want to be represented by that kind of trash? i will never bow to an old fart who sits on a throne.
but still america shud be in our games coz even canada is
but wtf is with the flag noob the part in the corner has to do with the queen but america doesnt have the queen they have a present dumb ass

Since when did "the people" have them in the first place?
Pubic - I sit corrected. Thanks for pointing out that VERY subtle difference in the flag.

WE DID. It was called The Declaration of Independance. Georgy Porgy wanted control and sent the redcoats and his bitches (the merceneries, I forget where from) to come get us under control. I think we would still be under a monoarch if it was for the damn tea...Flecco wrote:

Ha! Wonder if those guided missiles were any help. Way I see it, the moment the US commits ground troops to any situation they start dying in droves.Giant_Squid500 wrote:

the mercenaries were from Hesse, Germany. Thus, the Hessians caught unprepared by George Washington's cross over the Delaware river.
Oh yeah, the Hessians! We kicked their ass without losing one guy. 'Course, they were all nekked.
I just recently learned that numbers always win. Would you care to enlighten us on that? I will give you guys expert sniper badge though.DazBurt wrote:

The USA will accept a petition for statehood by any or all of the commonwealth participant countries. Come on you know you want to.
We already have the distinction of having more people from some countries living here than those countries have living within their own borders. Why not have their countries as states too?

Gulf war I: in one series of battles: 55,000 usa deaths vs 300,000 iraqi deaths, due to superiority of ground force training and technology (e.g. advanced tanks and mechanized units). And you may think there were only that many iraqi deaths because of air power. The fact is that air power did not contribute significantly to the death ratio during those battles.
WWII: WHOEVER SAID BRITISH ARMY WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE FINEST IN THE WORLD: I question that the British Army was the best in the world during WWII. Hitler's armies were the finest in the world at that time, the German Ground/Land forces were unrivaled in the world. 1943 and you guys were huddled on your little island, with nothing but the RAF and RN (Royal Navy) to stop the Nazis from invading you (Read up on Operation Sealion, the planned but not executed plan of invading Britiain.)
The British Army was a laughable force.
Korean War: After Truman's push into North Korea, China came to defend it and 200,000 chinese pushed the Americans back to the south. eventually the Americans pushed them back to the Parallel, but not after tragic deaths and casualties of chinese forces and comparatively much lower casualties of UN forces (basically USA forces).
Intersting. I wouldnt think the British would rush into anything considering pre-WWII. Hitler was deep into his "cleansing," however nothing was being done about it. True, the US laid back as well, but if we had done something we would have been ridiculed like we are now. The rest of the world is pissed at us for getting into other peoples affairs. World police" damned if you do, damned if you dont.-]Eucalyptus[- wrote:
