That's exactly what I did and never had any problems with foodTimmmmaaaaH wrote:
I think the main issue was I played every level by never getting spotted and aiming to knock out via takedown every guard. That is just way more takedowns than it was designed for. Also, it works out a lot better if you are doing that to never eat food because it is just a waste - the last battery always recharges and the others dont.mtb0minime wrote:
Are you running around to each guy and taking them down in quick succession? I played it pretty slow. After much waiting and finally taking a guy down, I'd hide the body and stalk some more before going for the next one, so the energy was well charged up by then.
As for your other points, I agree. It all went downhill
Spoiler (highlight to read):
when it came to the third boss. I was expecting at least a little part where he'd hide among the statues and I'd have to find him and he'd jump out and scare the shit outta me, but nope, we just took turns popping out of corners shooting each other. The Jensen's-DNA-is-the-key-to-augmentation reveal was not a reveal at all and poorly done.
What really pissed me off the most was Panchea. That first hangar/warehouse had a lot of different entry points and pathways but there was no point in using them since no one was around. I figured I'd at least have to use them when sneaking out or something but nope. And then things got worse with the wanna-be zombie apocalypse scenario. I was so pissed off at that point I decided to use up all that ammo I'd been stockpiling and massacred all of them. Darrow's social battle was mediocre as you just had to pick the same option over and over. The battle with the Chinese lady was as bland as the rest of the bosses but for some reason I actually enjoyed this battle; maybe it's because I was finally at the end.
And then being able to choose your ending with the press of a button. What a cop out. At least have the ending be influenced by our previous choices. If I had murdered everyone I came in contact with, it'd still be the same as if I left everyone alive. Completing sidequests or missions in different ways has no impact. How boring.
