there's a cinematic that plays when you load the game now for the first time after the major patch

'the shattering' has been implemented today- 90% of the upcoming expansion changes are now in the game. the entire game world, the world that we have played in for the last 5 years, has all been completely revamped. everything is new. the 'event' behind the lore for the next expansion pack, the rising of Deathwing and his sundering of Azeroth, has now 'happened'. the cinematic that fills out this event is really good- as always for blizzard. so hyped

literally the entire first two continents... plus loads of entirely new content that will be introduced when the expansion itself launches (dec 7th)

i've rolled a brand new character, one of the new race/class combinations, a gnome priest... can't wait to see the zones afresh the new gnome start area looks great... so good that us little gnome players finally get our own properly fleshed-out lore and start area!

fuck it, uzique's sheer glee means i have to play.  uninstalling everything unnecessary to play this

its too bad you didnt merge your account...you would just be able to download the game directly from battle.net

Is this the cinematic with Deathwing getting armored up or something completely new? Despite not really playing the game, I still kinda follow the lore.

like do they really expect lvl80-85 players to go back and do ALLLL the quests in ALLL the zones again?

hooray for doing 900 quests over again. I probably should have finished loremaster when I had the chance

Ele shaman meta gem (chaotic skyflare diamond) requirements changed to needing more blue gems than red?  This is madness!  Went with 21int and 2% mana increase instead for now.  Apparently the CSD requirements will be changed again next patch, but mah monster fulmination crits are reduced for now
