You didnt do anyrhing though

Res caps crit prevention at 99%.

so you got two 100:1 rolls in a row. Big fucking deal. No skill involved, just blind luck.

All they have right now is their burst. They'll slam out 80k in 3 GCDs, then they've got nothing but white swings. If you manage to stun then when they get out colossus smash then that's their burst gone and they're now useless. Whittle them down.

There was no whittling him down, he hit way too fucking hard.  The first game we played them, he sat on my warrior and we lost in under a minute. Usually when another warrior is hitting on mine, it's no problem.  This guy got him to 80k and two shot him.  He was arms too, couldn't imagine him being fury...

Cool, I prob wont hit 58 for at least two weeks.  I only seem to get a chance to play two to three times a week.  (rested xp though )

You're most efficient at levelling when the quests are green. I wouldn't go to Outlands till about 62 or 63.

Finish Un'Goro, go to Sithilus, then hearth back to Stormwind, take the portal in the Mage Quarter to Blasted Lands. Then go through the portal to Hellfire Peninsula.

E: PS: Have fun with the dungeons in TBC. Most fun to pug in the game in my opinion.

Un'Goro is fun. Western Plaguelands was fun (but I heard they changed plaguelands completely so my knowledge is ancient by now). Eastern Plaguelands was always hideously awful. The gap between level 52 and level 58 was pretty awful for questing when I played.

That is so wrong, Yellow quests are the best ones to do. So get to outlands at 58, you'll be 60 in a matter of an hour and you can progress quite well from there.

In respect to current level, higher level quests do yield a larger relative xp gain. However, in the time it takes to do these harder quests it is possible to do several of the lower quests. Each to their own, but don't confuse the absolute value of xp gained as a number with the relative xp gained as a percentage of current level requirements. One strategy is to avoid reds, miss most oranges and focus on a mix of yellow and greens.

The beginning quests in outlands aren't hard at all though, for any class. They take minutes to complete. Your argument holds no sway to someone who's done those quests 5 times over.

I got my shit pushed in by the quests in Hellfire at level 58 on my shaman.

I did all of them, DK, Mage, Paladin, Huntard. My buddy did them on his Shaman, Mage, Druid and Priest.  Maybe you're doing it wrong?

They're easy with looms, and if you've experience with WoW. For a first time playthrough I don't imagine them being so easy.

This was in 2007 before they sped up the leveling process. I just remember doing a lot of corpse runs because the giant robots would come up behind me

Edit - And I was basically doing the quests again for the first time because I did the first five levels from 60-65 in the 72 hours after BC launched so it was all a blur.

the WoW music always brings back great memories. The music was one of the games strongest points I think. Great atmosphere.
