Very important iformation here! The Tesla Cannon is bugged from the last patch, boosting its damage tremendously(spelling?)! If you select a character that has damage increase, the tesla gets 25 extra damage for each point of the damage booster.
Meaning if you select Wildcat as a character, you can deal 400 damage a second chaining to infinate targets. Abuse this now while you can.The update just came out today (July 26th), and im going to assume Valve is working on a fix even now.

Floppy is right, you need something to burn down the biomass in Residential.
For speed run it's better to go with flamer + grenade launcher + ice grenade(/depends).
If you want to make it sure you're not going to die, use tesla + chainsaw + whatever.

Chainsaw is easily the best weapon in the game. Don't think I stopped using it from the moment I first used it.

Shit, they added Brutal difficulty now, too? I don't feel right having 2 levels of difficulty not completed. I was fine having not finished Insane, but this just will not stand.
I decided to have a go of Brutal the day they added it.
