weather underground is a good mobile page, just find and bookmark the page to your area:

for weather maps, if your in the US, go to this page and click on your area, then book mark it, it updates frequently and you can zoom in nicely.
or for hi-res of your area, go here, click on your area, then click "view / save image", then bookmark that link.

just saw the notice about the cut on unlimited data for verizon. so far i used 2.8 gigz the last 30 days. Does streaming radio count on your data plan when over the 3g?

I hate how some Android apps are so shitty compared to their iPhone counterparts. For instance the PNC Bank app on Android is really just their mobile website while on iPhone it has a ton of cool features.
