Alright i just started doing something fun and interesting with my droid about a week ago. Go on amazon and purchase the car mount for your droid. It's like $30 bucks but its a must have if you drive a lot. Set it up in your car, insert the droid in the dock, select camcorder, then drive! Instant dash-cam. I've toned the settings down to Large 8mb file and left it at 720p and got about 13 minutes per gig. Tone it down more and of course you'll get more. I tried to let my brother use it in his tahoe but he said it would look stupid. So that night we pulled out of best buy and two cards collided infront of us and we have a front seat viewing of it. One of the guys later got two tickets for running a red light when he didn't... It woulda been very beneficial if i would have had the dash-cam. lol... Anyways. Do it. Its oddly fun.

tldr: Droid x + car dock = dashcam

Glympse has actually come in handy lately as well. Better than latitude in my opinion. Doesn't force ppl to sign up. You can set favorites, a timer so that your location is only visible for whatever time you want. You can send via sms or email. The other night I sent a glympse to someone who couldn't find where I was at.. it's best used to let people know where you are when you are running late though. It actually show the speed you are traveling... and it is on the dot. Perfectly in sync with the speedometer.

Rooted my HTC Desire HD today - Installed a new rom, and ridded of alot of HTC Sense Shit.

Shit's smooth now.

My Android's a mess to look at, but everything's perfect for me where it is.

Pssht, I am more worried about what happens outside of the home. Security experts agree that a dog is the one of best thing to have.. sensor security lights are also a big plus too. If someone walks up to a house and the lights come on most will assume they have been busted. Most criminals are idiots.

Glympse doesn't tell anyone you dont want to know. It's not like what 4square or gowalla was (which you can protect now as well). You sms or email it to them. And you can limit how long they can see it.

You'll have to take up another job just to feed her.

The only flaw is it doesn't work with the back button - That is you click on the app list icon (center) select something, hit back - it takes you home. No biggie - Has nice animations and icons - I may look for another that is much the same.
