You can do copy and paste in Gmail. Press your menu button or do a long press. I can't recall which it is, but try one of those two.
oops LoL, yes it's Menu.
Still would be nice to have a long press. It'd also be nice to be able to adjust the text selection.

How do you mean "adjust the text selection"?
Anyone rooted a Nook Color? I'm wondering which version I should go for at this time.
Wait for honeycomb? Made for tablets.

Yeah, seems to be the consensus for most of what I've read.Microwave wrote:

definitely wait for Honeycomb if you really want an Android tablet.Ilocano wrote:

I'm honestly on the fence about an Android tablet. Honeycomb is pretty badass, but I also want to wait for the iPad 2...
That's not true at all. Carriers modify the OS on phones all the time. ATT only allowed apps from the market. I had to install the liberated firmware on my phone to get the option to allow non-Market apps. The integral feature is the market apps, not necessarily random APK files.CapnNismo wrote:

I don't think all carriers allow that. I don't believe my Aria (AT&T) could install third party apps, but I can't check since I've rooted and installed the liberated Froyo ROM...so basically everything is allowed now.CapnNismo wrote:
You don't need to have a rooted phone to install apps from the web. Enable third-party apps in the normal Android settings and then you can install ANY .apk file directly onto your phone...
Edit: Proof ATT sucks.

Third party apps are fine in Verizon.

That big-ass date/time/weather widget takes up too much real estate. I moved it from my home page.
How do you guys have your homescreen set up? Widgets, shortcuts, nothing, what? Looking for ideas.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
This is a must:max wrote:

by havin creditcard i mean it only has creditcard as a payment option
Correct
And?...
Despite iTunes GC's abound, you still have to link to a creditcard to purchase...
Also, Android Marketplace won't let you use something like a Visa Pre-paid card?

Yea...apparently HTC allows sideloading apps via their software...but I don't run windows, so that would have been problematic.Kmar wrote:

If it's a visa it will work. I use my banks debit card.Ilocano wrote:

Just my most used apps and a weather widget make up my home screen.
