I knew some kid in high school who was paranoid about his mustang and would park directly over the line. He drove an '88 mustang.

I'm sorry, it's the people. The lot's weird, but the rectangles are obvious to see. The only other reason I can think of is that perhaps two other morons were parked like that some time ago and he had no choice but to pull in between them.Miggle wrote:

Not a terrible fan of the fishbone config, especially when I have to paint it.

Got boxed in on thursday.
Two rows of cars, with access either side, and a guy goes and starts a third row right in front of mine.
I left a note.

Don't be stupid! You never know who owns the car. He might fuck you up, specially if you "key" his car!

Anyway it looked like the driver genuinely made a mistake and just parked how the cars opposite were.
most amusing asshole-parking sticker i saw:
"Thanks for parking so close
Next time leave a fucking can opener so I can get my car out
Idiots like you should catch the bus"

Explain please?
If you are referring to Manual/Automatic surely Automatics have handbrakes too?!

"Park" mode in automatic transmissions fully locks the engine to the transmission. The car cannot move.FloppY_ wrote:

nobody driving an automatic uses the handbrake...
I do.
automatic transmission is for old people (and for people who can't drive properly)
Ah, I'm sorry, hardly anyone drives a manual transmission. With an automatic you can put the car in park and you don't need a handbrake.FloppY_ wrote:

My Jeep is a 5 speed, so suck itcl4u53w1t2 wrote:

edit: actually my jeep doesn't even have a handbrake, there was some problem when I had the lift kit installed and it would have been much easier to cut the brake. Leaving it in gear doesn't make it roll, unless its stopped downhill, where I would put it reverse...

before the car on the far left got there there was nobody paralleled for a good 400 yards. come back 15 minutes later and this prick is 1 inch from the curb and 1 inch from my front bumper.
clowns these days. i have no idea how i restrained myself from demolishing his car.

How do you know no one parked further in front of you and then the mini squeezed between you and that other person (who then left before you could get out there)?

either the lot was designed by a woman or all the drivers have female tendencies
The US economy is a giant Ponzi scheme. And 'to big to fail' is code speak for 'niahnahniahniahnah 99 percenters'
because it was a Saturday morning at a park, and like I said, there is literally 400 yards of open parallel parking space ahead of me not pictured. and i was only gone for 10-15 minutes.mtb0minime wrote:
