Really want to see them live, wish they'd come to Aus this millennium.
By the way, how long are their concerts?

After YEARS of wanting to see them, I finally got to see aussie band Thirsty Merc last night at my local RSL. They grew up in the area, but it had taken them 8 years to come and play a proper show there xD They are pretty well known in Australia, tho I don't think any of you guys would have heard them before

It was an incredible show with a lot of classic songs, extended solos/jamming and crowd participation. And we were pretty close...

And if you are still wondering what they sound like, here is one of their more known songs. It's been used as the theme for the "Bondi Rescue" tv show for some 7 seasons

damn Ultra

hmm, I'm half juggling whether I should fly down to Melbourne (where I would meet up with some uni mates) to go see the NYE Armin Only show. Trance from 9pm-5am... Would cost so much tho, and I've also got an epic (E P I C) houseparty to go to here...

M-E-T-H-O-D MAN

Wu-Tang Clan was amazing despite RZA not being there.  I felt proud when one of the opening DJ's tried to spin a club song, got boo'd, and immediately changed the track.  The first part of Wu-Tang's set was most of 36 Chambers. All the members filled in ODB's parts; the crowd sang along to pretty much every song.  They also did Triumph, Liquid Swords, Dual of the Iron Mic, Guillotine...near the end they brought out ODB's son Young Dirty Bastard (who looks, walks, and talks exactly like his father)and did Shimmy Shimmy Ya.  Plenty of blunts were smoked both onstage and in the crowd.  A couple of teens with their father posted up by us before the show; the dad disappeared when Wu-Tang came on and the kids light up a blunt of what smelled like some schoolyard schwag while scoping for daddy and looking sketched out.  This was definitely one of my favorite live experiences.
