BF2S Forums [Crysis 2] Screens

The aliens look a lot different to those in the original too, and don't seem to freeze up stuff by the look of it.

well its good they have more aliens, there were what, 2 different main alien models. the small flying and the bigger ones..

Nah I mean, they don't seem to share much in common with the originals, as if they were a different race of aliens altogether.

looks like the US is getting invaded alot recently.

Even though it looks absolutely amazing, I am pretty sure Crysis 1 left off at you flying back to the island together with your two remaining squad mateys. So..liek..dubbel u t f?

Prophet discovered something when he encountered the aliens... remember how he retrofitted the alien tech in a few hours to a weapon which even top scientists would have to spend years reverse engineering... Something happened to him.. And he was hell-bent on going back to the island even though he knew it would get nuked...

Damnit Crytek... You better not leave this island behind & pretend you finished the story by nomad standing in the back of a helicopter getting his war face on !!!

I really hope they finish the good story line. Prophet, Nomad, Pyscho and Dr. Rosenthal's daughter go back to the island. I'm quite mad the stupid admiral on the carrier was such a retard. That was a bit too far fetched for him to not listen to the people who were there any knew better.

Prophet is some sort of deranged extremely smart warrior now. He made a new icicle shooting alien gun in the field, so he obviously knows something.

So if Prophet went back to "Finish it" then why are the aliens still fighting 4 years later? Apparently they've gotten an upgrade too!

yea, it is odd there are no vtols.. but they also wouldnt have worked as well in the video. they also said they wanted crysis 2 to evoke more emotion from some people so they chose new york, so why not blackhawks, theyre also an icon

Maybe cause the national guard doesn't have all those new gadgets.

EDIT: Heck I'd welcome a game that had you facing US troops or something just for the fact of it beeing "new".. I've had enough of Russian/Chinese/Japanese/Vietkong/Middle East/NAZI killing already... it gets old...

Yes, but Transformers 2 came out before this Crysis 2 trailer did.. therefore that's why it reminds him of it..
