Sweet
downloading too. never played much CNC besides a bit of RA3.
Tiberian Sun and Firestorm were both awesome games! I still have my copies though, so no need to download.
Oh nice!
noice
Nice find. Great games back in their hay day. I know after I finish all other things I have to do I will be hitting this up.
You read the title correctly.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Command and Conquer 4, EA are releasing the original Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun with the Firestorm expansion all for FREE!

Red Alert, fuck yes!
TD and RA have been free for years now.
TS being free is new though.

TD and RA have been free for a while yes, TS is new but I wanted to draw attention to the older titles for those that have not seen them before.
Damn, and I who payed the full price of Tiberian Sun + Firestorm back when I finished playing RA2...

I bet it will still be years before they do it with RA2 and Yuri's revenge... Generals is nowhere near freeware material yet

Nice! Gotta get me some of this
Having some problems with this. Downloaded it and extracted to my Program Files folder. The only problem is, the file doesn't show up there. However if i extract it anywhere else it extracts fine. However if i try to start it, it says i have a missing DLL file. Added bonus, if i try to extract it to my Program Files(x86) folder, it gives me 266 WinRAR:Diagnostic Errors.
Very cool. This will be good for my laptop
Extract it to the desktop and move it into Program Files. You also need to run the game executable as an administrator the first time for the game to work properly. You also could mitigate the issue with Winrar by running it as an administrator as well. Find the WinRAR executable in its directory, tell it to run as administrator through compatibility settings, then right click on the RAR of Tiberian Sun, click "Open with", select WinRAR, and you should be set.
