Damn, I miss this game. One of the games that started me out on PC gaming when I was like 10 years old. Owning with my cousins and brother.

My all time favorate in the BF series.  I still have fond memories of sweeping the tree line in my huey, rockin' "The Letter" while laying waste to Charlie with my clan.  Damn, I miss that game.

I went from 1942 straight to bf2.

1942 was pretty damn awesome. It scares me to think just how well I remember all of the maps and the best ways to play them, right down to the layout of the rooms and all of the spawn points. I was maybe 14 when I last played...

Damn right. Disappointed it didn't get the same attention in the BF2 version.

Never got into 1942.

Was probably still young and not interested in gaming yet lol.

Bf:V was the best.

The hit reg and the damage to kill someone was perfect.

I loved sniping though, could top the scoreboard most games when I played as sniper.

One of my favorite games of all time. About a year ago I got into it again. I started working on a mod and making my own maps. I took data from the WWII mod that EA released and combined it to make an early era Vietnam mod.

Beleive it or not, BFnam was my 1st multiplayer FPS I touched.
I was playing at my bros place because I still only possessed a 266Mhz at that time!
For me the first thrills of following someone on his back.  Flanking an opponent, trying to survive from a tank encounter but getting owned also because of noobness.
A chance there were no ranks I would have scrapped* their characters!
Those for me are good souvenirs.

I've played some console, but AI are so noob and campaigns are linear.  I've played the original Doom but it was tasteless for me, flat boring and all.  I was into RPG + RTS at that time and for a little while.
The only one I liked was FEAR (recent) for the AI and I also had Half-Life as a gift.
Half-Life is a good solo FPS but multiplayer is on arena type = beurk.  I also played Half-Life after BFnam.
Give me a battlefield and room to move.
That what I discovered in the BF serie.  Simply the best easy jump in, pull the trigger and all the fun that comes with that multiplayer game.

The solo is worth nothing in BF serie it was clearly developped for the on line gaming.

Super Heroes of all type, sports of all type, I don't play neither.
