If ya need decryption skills and still want someone to bring firepower to a fight, then bring Garrus along.
Ok, no 1680x1050 or AA options?? Halp!??
google Mass Effect + 1680x1050, you have to edit a .bin file...SonderKommando wrote:

AA must be forced through drivers if you want it... Unreal Engine restricts the use of it afaik...

I did have the option of 1680x1050 right from the graphics menu Did you scroll down?
I missed the small blue arrow on blue background the first time and thought there was no such resolution either.lol
Dude, I must have missed it, i had to go into the /steam/steamapps/masseffect/binaries/masseffectconfig and select it there. I Forced AA through my Nvidia control panel. Game runs well, seems to be capped at 62 fps... doesnt drop under or go over..Sisco10 wrote:

I just started again too. I still think I´m going to use the saves from my first playthrough, default looks and true paragorn. I´m a nice guy
Anyways, time is running short, I´ve still not been to Noveria or Feros, so there´s plenty to do. Looks like I need to rescue the galaxy in under a week to rescue it again with more awesome!
That's the thing.. ONE WEEK to save teh galaxy from saren and teh geth... CAN IT BE DONE!?Sisco10 wrote:

It must be done. There is no other option. And if there is one man in the galaxy who can pull this off, it´s Shepard!SonderKommando wrote:

I played 34 hours with my last playthrough and left at least a third of the planets out. Where do you get the time?
A complete playthrough takes ~16 hours, max...Sisco10 wrote:

Ive been talking to everyone I meet. Ive played for about four hours and im still at the citadel going after Fist!
Sry I just rechecked my ME savegames,, A complete playthrough with all (+1/-1) codex entries, side quests completed & containers looted takes me ~24 hours... and I have nearly nothing else in my seemingly oh so miserable spare time than video-games so I have plenty of time for 3-4 playthroughs a week...Sisco10 wrote:

It does get pretty boring after 3 though... but meh, I will need the savegames :b

I still can´t manage to beat it that quick. And even then, I can´t afford all that time for gaming. That´s 3 full days for saving the galaxyFloppY_ wrote:

I play 4-5 hours a day on a good day, so I should get through right before ME2 drops.
Meh I think I average on about 6-8 hours on work-days and 12 on weekend days x_xSisco10 wrote:

Imo it is really one of the greatest games I've played... It proves that linear games can be far more awesome than non-linear ones... Just like Valve did with Half-Life 2... And yet still, it is far from linear storywise.. You are taken through some linear missions to tell you the story, but alot of them have several ways of you to complete them... and you decide which order to complete them in!
Mass Effect has a very well written story, plenty of background material to add to the fictional world. Good graphics (thanks to Unreal Engine) and I think that the Elevator rides that most find long and annoying are a welcome replacement to loading screens... The game has a touch of humor aswell and some of the most likeable characters I've seen for a long time (With exception of Ashley Williams beeing one of the must unlikeable ones I have seen)...
First game I have been ashamed of "borrowing" instead of buying ! and that is why I preordered the second one as soon as I could... can't wait for next week :3
A must play tbh,,, when you are finished I guarantee that you will be wanting more...

they got a lot right, but they also got a lot wrong. It's probably one of the better shooter RPGs of the last 5 years, but if you check out some older games I'm sure you'll find them even more impressive.FloppY_ wrote:
