Left 4 Dead's Hunter definitely had a fairly high skill curve.
The rest of the game though was all about timing and co-ordination.

True. I went 30-7 in my first game in MW2Miggle wrote:

the hunter was the only really solid part of the game.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

Awesome with the Spitter though
So someone explain to me how the hunter works? Am I right in saying you hit more damage falling from a higher height?
Not so much about the height, more about the distance. I advice you get hunter city and hunter training maps for L4D (if you have it). Dunno if they work for L4D2.Finray wrote:

i'm sure it does. yes it is all distance. if you say horizontal distance is x and height is y on a triangle then the damage is calculated by the hypotenuse. if you are 25 meters away and you pounce straight down it'll be for the same damage as a 25 meter horizontal jump (which is theoretical since there's gravity).DeathUnlimited wrote:

also, lol at "infected are too weak" and "X infected got nerfed". The four of us were doing some pretty good teamwork when you had an incomplete team of people randomly joining and leaving. What did you expect?
That was Sydney lol.Lucien wrote:

@Miggle, /facepalm. He started it on the forums by pasting what I said about the teams. Hands up, I started bitching ingame, he carried it onto the forum.

Scavenge is actually fun. I had no idea it had player controlled special infected, and it seems less prone to ragequitters
