you can get google to do conversions for you. Just type '220lb in kg' into the google search field.Irishpride<3 wrote:

works for all other coversions too, temp, distance etc.
Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
WolfRamAlpha is better for this stuff imo.m3thod wrote:

Same here. Luckily my mum has quite a good thought on what's healthy, but just healthy food isn't always the best for gaining muscle I guess.Irishpride<3 wrote:

Looks more stable(ish) than the one I was thinking of getting.
Around 60 quid. I'd highly recommend it. It's nice and wide and very stable.I personally don't eat ANYTHING after I have my dinner (6PM-7PM). I live at home too with my parents and I gotta eat what I'm given. My parents cook healthy food but sometimes it's quiet low on carbs/protein so go for secondsJebus wrote:

Anyway, for example, what would you eat at 10PM when you're hungry just before you're going to bed?
And what do you mean with seconds?
I eat at 6PM too, and not eating anything after that would be crazy for me!
Going up for seconds = finishing what you get given, then going to get another plate.Jebus wrote:

Oh I see.
I usually don't stop eating 'till I'm full (for example at 6pm), but around 8pm I'll already be craving for something to eat..

At least 3l of water/day to improve skin/muscle growth tbh.Jebus wrote:

OP updated with workout for the next 2 weeks.
Blitzed the chin ups on Friday night, 5 sets of 7 reps, last set nearly ruined me. A couple of lads must have thought it looked easy, they had a go after, barely did one cos they went about it all the wrong way. I don't know why people like that won't come and ask about an exercise like that, obv they wanted to start doing them but maybe they felt too proud to come and ask, if i didn't ask fellow gym users i wouldn't be doing half the exercises i'm doing and i'll be doing it all wrong still.
I did some bench after but it was too quiet to find an able 'spotter' and i nearly dropped the bar back on to me Had to dig real deep. Felt so good.

I generally do ten sets of ten reps of wide grip overhand pull ups on shoulder day, I love pull ups because they can really blast your lats as well as your delts/rear delts. You want to widen that back, keep doing pull ups. Also, throw some abs in there, hold your legs out in front of you at a 90 degree angle paralell to the floor. It will RIP your core!
I'm one of them gym lurkers who watches but doesn't ask. Then I attempt and fail. It's just how I roll bruhbaggs wrote:

what suppliments if any are you guys taking? Here's what im on as of now..
Pre Workout VPX N.O. Shotgun V.3
Creatine/ NO post workout VPX NO Synthesize
Anabolic Testosterone booster Genetic Edge Technologes SUS500
Whey Protein Isolate: Axis Labs CLUTCH whey

Whey Protein Isolate: Axis Labs CLUTCH whey
The best Whey Protein you can get is ON: Gold Standard. Without question. The taste and make up of that shit is just fantastic.
All-in-one for me. Went for ON: After Max to being with, was very good but it got discontinued. So I bought
PHD Synergy Iso-7
I use that with Optimum Nutrition: 100% Gold Standard Whey
Really good shit. I can put on 6-8 kilograms of muscle weight in 1 month with that stuff. It's ridiculous. I should be taking 2 a day, but I've reduced it to one because I simply have not had the time to get 2 down me (with an hour break before workout and the post workout one).
Kommando, how is the taste of the VPX shit? I've always wanted to have a go at it, but it's price just does no justify me buying it.

ON is good, but clutch has all the same stuff, two more grams of protein per serving and is cheaper. Shotgun tastes ok in watermelon... But its like the only pre and post workout mix that has protein in it as well. 20g of whey isolate per serving, so thats 40g with my pre and post workout drink.Zimmer wrote:

Am I the only one who doesn't take any supplements at all lol?
alot of people dont. But im pretty serious about my lifting. While supps arent the answer, they certainly help.Jebus wrote:

Wha? Iso-7 has protein and it's both a pre and post workout shake.SonderKommando wrote:

So does After Max. So does Cyclone...
There are lots that contain protein and creating and everything you need for pre and post workouts.
"Tastes ok"? Does that mean it's pretty foul, but drinkable? Because ON tastes great, and so does Iso-7. It's a bit rich (Iso-7), but you get used to it.

Those supplements are way overpriced considering the lack of results they actually provide. TBH people start using them and working out and after seeing positive results they put it down to the workout/supplements when it's probably most the workout, and a very small bit of the supplements proving the positive results.
If that makes sense
Placebo effect

Im not familiar with after max or cyclone or iso-7. the NO stack is mainly a creatine and nitrous oxide suppliment with protein added in for a little extra kick. Im talking about that family of supps when I mean pre and post workout, mainly used to expand the blood vessesls, delivery creatine, and provide an energy rush. Its actually more than drinkable in watermelon, it tastes like jolly rancher candy. The other two flavors (grape bubblegum and exotic fruit) are drinkable.Zimmer wrote:

sorry but what you say is false. If you and I were on the same diet and same workout plan, and I was on supps, I would see greater gains than you more rapidly. They may be expensive but they do work. These suppliments allow me to take in more protein and other beneificial compounds that you cant get simply by eating right (not to say that its not VERY important to working out) quickly and effeciently.Irishpride<3 wrote:
