Been reading around on some of my other forums etc... about MW2. All the console fags seem very happy indeed but there are some ragers, namely the ones who didnt it get early on a pre order. There are some seriousley unhappy 'gamers' who have to wait an extra 24, excruciating, hrs before they get to play 'the most amazing FPS game in the history of the world/time/universe'.

They won't think it's shit though. I actually tried to explain to some guys why it would be shit. What a waste of time. They think all the shit stuff looks "awesome" and it's going to be "the best game of the decade".
My PS3 copy arrived today, christmas present. I only play the SP part anyway since CoD's MP never really appealed to me for long periods when I played it on my comp.
I understand PC gamer frustration, but I honestly think their situation has not been helped with their backlash tactics: the insults, threats, general revenge mission to try and have the game killed because it wasn't to their liking etc. Some of it really makes you go 'wtf', as if IW had just killed a member of their family or something.
I still lol at the irony though. All those who hated DICE and loved IW switching over to hating IW and loving DICE.

Why did you get your Christmas present on the 9th of November? That's 46 days early.
Just got delivered today to be wrapped up fro Christmas, not playing it yet.

Nah not really. I just know it was MW2 that came today because I was the only one in the house (had to wait for the Parcel Force guy), plus the arrival date would either have been today or tomorrow. Don't always know what I'm getting though.Jenspm wrote:

I'll go for most shooter games that come out (BFBC, KZ2, FC2, COD etc). I liked COD4's SP campaign as well, so it doesn't really bother me if the game has similar elements.Kez wrote:
