Exactly, and if you're caught doing it or do it enough where a nearby pedestrian calls 911, the cops will come after you. A mission where killing innocents is the main objective isn't what I would consider the traditional CoD formula of running, gunning, hiding for a couple seconds to reload, toss back the 9001 grenades that were thrown at your feet, and push on. Enemies are suppose to be hostile and fighting back to be challenging, not just standing there to soak up your bullets.Mekstizzle wrote:

From my point of view, video games are a part of the entertainment media along the lines of a movie (especially for single player). They show these massacres in movies, the news, etc., i don't see why games shouldn't be allowed. "but eegael, i does not want to shoot unarmmd ppl" you may say. Then don't play this game, its pretty simple. If you don't like being frightened, dont watch horror movies. If you don't like depressing subjects, don't watch the news. It has warnings and you can skip the level, what more is there to debate here or to be outraged at?
I'm sure one of the hundreds of e baddies on the first one had 2 e children, a loving e wife and was conscripted against his will by an e bad guy to be an e guard. Yet nobody gives a shit when you shoot him repeatedly with e bullets and he dies...

What the fuck is everyone complaining about? It's images on a screen. We all have had the change to kill a few civilians in other other games. This is NO different. It's just a game. If activision wants to make the game more awe shocking than more power to them.

You kill civilians in the CnC games whenever you play as NOD (though they were just like a pair of paints and a jacket with a basketball on top ).
