CoD2 was worth buying tbh. Unlike this crap.
If by amazing you mean appeals to the frankly lower-IQ masses and is a complete repeat of the last game, then yes, it is amazing.
ummm why did you take pictures of your monitor and not actual screenies?? and Finray STFU noob, all you do is bitch

Can't you afford it? You saved $60 just by not buying MW2, didn't you?Finray wrote:

Yes, I am now at $0, rather than -$60.Miggle wrote:

so, whats the final verdict bf2s? My roommate is raving, but he's a WoWfag. Predispositions aside, is it a good fps game?
I would say yes but there'll be about twenty posts after this (few of whom have the game) saying it's shit. So...

I have seen the review of it on Gametrailers and SP looks pretty fun and awesome too for that matter.S.Lythberg wrote:

So it will most likely be a very good FPS. All though if these people tell you that COD2 is better they are like those who claim CS 1.6 is better. So I wouldn't bother to listen to them. Because the most awesome thing you could do in COD2 is fire a rocket or something. So you can judge it on that.
The only real problem will be online with the game because it will be Peer to Peer. Which probably means a ping higher than 100 ms because that was the standard.
If you like COD4 you will most likely like this game too.
They say SP campaign is around 8 hours when you player on harder difficulties too. Sound reasonable for me.
I've played up to the 2nd chapter of the 2nd act but so far it's pretty good.
Haven't tried MP yet. Will in a bit. Probably going to get destroyed.

The problem with reviewing the game will be this:
All the "raving idiots" will claim it's "the best gaem evar".
All the experienced 'gamers' will claim it's complete and utter shit just to have a completely different opinion from the masses.
I doubt there will be very many honest and unbiased reviews.
That said, I'm downloading it now. 30%.
I'm expecting the SP to be great. MW1 SP was great..

Have you tried any of the co-op missions yet Poseidon?Poseidon wrote:

Had one guy tell say (of course, not much proof) that it took him about 5 hours on equivalent of hard (assume hardened).Zefar wrote:

I've always liked COD's SP, but I'm not paying more than I did for COD 2 for less features and gameplay.
Come to think of it, the bots in the previous CODs always used lean to poke their damn head around and shower you with bullets as you advanced. If the player doesn't get lean, how is it balanced?

Well the player is generally has a better shot/quicker reactions than the bots, so I suppose that can compensate for it.some_random_panda wrote:

Honestly i'm having fun playing this game.
Can't say I have, though they sound pretty interesting. One in the AC-130, one on the ground tracking? Sounds good to me.M.O.A.B wrote:

I've heard that while the campaign is fairly short, the spec-ops missions are roughly the same length/slighty longer, plus they look (like the AC-130 mission) good fun.
it's not peer to peer.Zefar wrote:

And if by awesome you mean most explosive, then MW2 is probably one of the best fps games ever.
This game is fantastic
Pretty disappointed so far. Weakest singleplayer campaign so far from the IW cod games. Just get zero sense of immersion in the story coz ur playing like 6 different guys half of which die. Level design seems pretty uninspired too, only a few levels that stick out as great levels.
