So yeah basically I'm beginning to get back into 2142. IMO it's better than BF2, I love the weapons on here and I love the toys I can use like the IDS and the Clark RDX <3

I've been playing BF2142 for several weeks now after having restrained from it since its release, and I have to say that the squad system, the points and ranking system and the unlock trees are what make this game great.
I still like it
Maybe if this game hits Steam like BF2 has (or maybe it did already and I don't know?), and if it's cheap (~$20), I might consider purchasing it. Seems like it could be lots of fun.
