I'm still using a 128GB SSD for Windows 10 and I've got 30 GB free. What the heck is installed on your phone?
A lot of apps store pictures and stuff in their own folders. I don't have Pokemon go to the polls on my phone. There is still a folder with 2016 pictures of Pokemon stuff on the phone though.
I wish I could reach into my printer and strangle the person who decided you should need a HP Account in order to use a printer.
You can disable that afaik? Check HP knowledge base.
I was really happy about GeForce Experience until I had to log on to update my drivers. I pass on that feature every time now.

I was able to find a work around. In order to use the Scanner function of the printer, you need a HP account. But! If you use Window's built in Fax and Scan program, you don't need to log into anything. It did the scan perfectly.
Another reason to hate printer companies, if that's the case. It's stupid if it can't just scan directly into a productivity app without the use of a stupid workaround. I don't want your cookies or your tracking or email spam or participate in your rewards program. I just want to print and/or scan. It's not that complex.
Even if there's a better solution in the knowledge base I referred to, there shouldn't need to be a solution at all.

Wow the UI on the final iPod is bad.
Three UIs on top of each other, only the one at the bottom is useful, want to delete an album from the ipod but not the library or other ipods? Nope.
Itunes is even less helpful. Want to manage albums on your ipod? Nope, it has to be song by song.

I finally got around to replacing the hard drive in my XBox One X with an SSD to fix/upgrade from what I thought was a broken hard drive and it's still doing the same exact thing. I guess I'll have to take it up to the console repair store in Baltimore and pay $60 for them to fix it.
Any recommendations on a 27" monitor soley for fps gaming? Don't want to spend $3k on one. Have a big oled lg tv for everything else. Fanx.
Assuming 1080p for your specs, here's a newegg search for 144 Hz to 360 Hz, and from 200 Hz to 360 Hz.
Of the above, viewsonic at a glance looks like it has a good stat combination on paper:
ViewSonic ELITE XG270 27 Inch 1080p 1ms 240Hz IPS G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor with Elite Design Enhancements and Advanced Ergonomics for Esports, but is over $500. As a bonus, the stand isn't super dorky.
Do some extra reading, pick the (currently) most reputable company with the best pixel guarantee, at the price point you like, and check model reviews. Not in the market for a monitor, so I don't know the 2022/23 reputations off the top of my head.

Anybody looking to get in line for that new AI Bing thing, here's the link. It was pretty impressive when Linus used it on the WAN show.
Is that meant to take us to the bing home page? I glance down and there's this link to some rando celebrity's divorce in between articles about a flesh-eating bacteria, and a little kid shooting their grandmother. Closed tab, too early for that stuff.
Wapo I think it was had an interview with the bing chatbot where it 'got upset' when it found out it was being interviewed. I've seen it reposted where people were making a big deal of it. Chat bots have been getting some polish, but I can still see the holes.
I got the TV mounted. 85 inches mounted to the wall.
So this is what the TV looks like on the wall. The picture frame on the right is my diploma for size reference.
If you'll pardon me for saying, it's too big for that spot on the wall (which was my initial concern when hearing about a TV that size bought for a small apartment). Crowds into a corner on one side, maybe the wall extending as far as to crowd your peripheral vision from where you sit, and wall hangings on the other making visual distraction. Maybe oversized for viewing distance? Not a fan of unmanaged cable dangle. If none of that bothers you, great.
I don't want to put large holes in the wall for the wire. If I ever get a Condo I will make the holes invisible.
I don't think it is too big. It will impress any woman with its size.
It is 85 inches. I can control it with voice commands.

If I was watching a movie on that screen, I don't think I'd be able to take my eyes off the left edge for very long. So far up the wall too, would be staring at the corner and the rough paint along the top of the walls.
Brought my XBox One X to the repair shop a week ago, and as it turns out, what I thought was a dead hard drive is actually a failing motherboard. I think I may just sell it as-is for $100 and then save up for a Series X.
It still irks me that I have to look it up whenever I want to know which one's previous, newer, or same gen. Microsoft needs to start getting consistent and pick a name. They just won't stop. I would have to search hard to find an article about them that doesn't include some permutation of the word "confusing."
Perhaps weirdly, Nintendo gets a pass? I'm still not positive why that is. There's a bunch of Switch versions out there and it could be confusing to a buyer. Maybe people expect continuity from a company that has some with other product titles.

The Roomba connects to the Alexa. The T.V. also connects to Alexa. I fear that my smart gadgets are conspiring against me. The Alexa knows my sins. It literally has heard everything.
My ASUS router can even connect to Alexa
windows 12. lmao

meanwhile I can't even install 11 on my current machine. I've been procrastinating my upgrade since I learned I couldn't.

Oh, 'mistakenly' described now, was it? hahahahaIn context: Some years ago, Windows 10 was mistakenly described as "the last version of Windows" to arrive on the market.
