I never said that.Finray wrote:
MP5 and M4 have the same recoil? Are you on shrooms?
Okay maybe not exactly what I said but it's late. MP5 and M4 are completely different. M4 recoils backwards, towards the player. Very slightly upward. It has an average bullet penetration. MP5 recoils randomly in a semi-tight circle. It has terrible bullet pen. Agreed, they have a very similar ROF and damage, but the MP5 has tighter crosshairs.Miggle wrote:
An MP5 doesn't shoot much differently from an M4, neither have substantial recoil, both have good accuracy.
Now if you had said, for example, the AK-47 and MP44 are similar, I would be right behind you. They're the same weapon, except MP44 fires slower.
martyrdom and mg = win
if you empty an MP5 at somebody most of the shots, if not all, will hit them. Same goes for the M4. Same goes for most weapons in CoD4. None require skill.Finray wrote:

In VCoD not only do all weapons require skill, they require different skill.
Depends at what range. You'll miss 90% of the shots from an MP5 down Strike's middle street, whereas with the M4 you'll probably hit with 90%.Miggle wrote:

You're the type of people who walk around with their M249/Grip/Double Tap/Martyrdom firing from the hip at a target 60 yards away. You have no gamesense, walk everywhere instead of running or crouching, throw grenades randomly, think killing with a knife is skillful.. I could go on, but the main part of this is that I hate people like you. Seriously when I see one of your type in-game I seriously think they're very poorly if at all educated.Red Forman wrote:

Miggle you can hit 100% with anything if you don't spray.

Not really a point, if you take aim, shoot one bullet, wait for recoil to disapate, re-aim, shoot one bullet, repeat until mag is empty, you can hit 100% on any game with any gun.
what's gamesense?
sounds like the guy is lolmad @ getting knifed

Anyways, the recoil in CoD4 is hardly noticeable. Only an miserable failure could have trouble handling it. You'd have a lot more trouble killing an enemy at long range in VCoD than CoD4, there are no weapons that aren't easy to handle in CoD4, and there are no major differences in technique between any of them.
Obviously something you don't have.killaer wrote:

Nah, I rarely if ever get knifed, because I keep on the move and I actually listen to footsteps and are aware if it's my teammates or an enemy. The whole thing with knifing is it's very skillless.killaer wrote:

Look at Battlefield, knifing is still a very "lol you got pwnt" thing, because you have to select the knife, aim it at your target, get close enough and then pray the reg actually works for once.
In CoD4, you don't have to swap weapons, all you have to do is get within 5 feet of an enemy and mash V and hope for the best. (Or at least that's what most pubbers do, I've actually seen them try to knife from about 10-15 yards after empting their clip from the hip as a last resort, makes me facepalm).

That segment isn't important, it's the fact that not only are CoD4's guns all pretty much the same thing, none of them take any skill or experience to use. The game plays itself.
In CoD2 IW introduced the trench gun, often referred to as the noob cannon due to it's "aim at enemy, kill enemy" technique. Other weapons took practice to master, the game wasn't giving you anything for free. What makes a game fun is the challenge, it's being good at something that isn't easy, and there is none of that in cod4.
and this whole gamesense thing is lulzy, it sounds like you're in pokemon or harry potter or something.
But when I let the game play itself nothing happens and my dude doesn't move and I die a ton.
Do I need to use gamesense?
Do I need to use gamesense?
I'm pretty sure gamesense is one of those things you either have or you don't, like wizardry or retardation.killaer wrote:
