Someone said some of the code, the part about getting your shit deleted, was in the GCF since the item hacking post Scout update.

What do you guys make of this?

I idle all the time, neither of my hats were gotten that way so if they're deleting the stuff you get from idling, I'm safe.

And it looks like they will give you an item as punishment for idling, a dunce cap or something. imo it's going to encourage idling if that means you get a hat nobody else does. lmao

Well I accidentally deleted my KGB and backburner. I got the BB back from idling.

Never use either of them though.

To me it just seems lame to have it running all the time just so you can say you have a hat. Also, Valve wanted the hats to be rare and they should be, otherwise what's the point of them?

So if you're unlucky it will take you 400 hours to "earn" (lol) a hat. It could take you longer, there's no guarantee you will get a hat after 400 hours.

Hats are meaningless, they don't denote any form of skill or capability- it's down to a mixture of pot-luck and playing the game a lot. I don't understand why you dumbies don't just actually play the game and improve upon your mediocrity, instead of idling for a superficial addition that doesn't even have any 'look at me, I'm pro!' connotations anyway.
