I've spent over 4000 hours on Guild Wars 1, I wasn't really interested that much in GW 2, but I gotta admit, this trailer made me look forward to GW 2.Uzique wrote:

Will be good to start afresh with a new title .

The most I've ever spent on a game (time-wise) is 170 something with TF2

All of the trailer looked pretty cool besides whatever those gay anime-looking things are at 1:54

4,000 hours on Guild Wars sounds insane... the game was monotonous as hell!

I've never tried GW.
Should I give it a go? Is it worth it? Is it playable on a decent laptop? Can I enjoy it without any added "packs"?
Yes, yes, probably, and yes.Bevo wrote:

Very playable, the game is over 4 year olds, and didn't really required a high-end PC back then. I'm not sure if you'd still want to start now, though. The community is still very active, but it will be hard to find groups in the lower-end areas (not that that's needed, you can play and finish the game perfectly fine with NPC's only). You can enjoy the game without any added packs, but I'm pretty sure you can get a bundle of all 4 games nowadays pretty cheap.Bevo wrote:

I could probably give you one if I ask around.
It would be appreciated.Jebus wrote:
