I need halp.
I got the last Renegade bar half-way full, but I can't find anything else to give me points..
I only have the IFF and Samara loyalty mission, and I want full Renegade to
Spoiler (highlight to read):
get Morinth on my team.
Halp?

I dont recall the Morinth choice being that difficult, in fact I dont recall it being an intimidate choice. Spoiler (highlight to read):DefCon-17 wrote:

Just choose the right dialogue in the VIP area and choose Morinth rather than Samara when they try to kill each other.
If you dont have enough, respec to the 100% paragon/renegade specialisation and wear some negotiation armour. Should get you there, unless you are using all that already.
Ooh didn't think of the neg armor. I'll try that out tomorrow.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

What. I didn't even know you COULD get Morinth.

You have to pass the renegade/paragon check where you resist her mind-control...Spidery_Yoda wrote:

Well. I'll definitely try that on my next playthrough.
That is dependant on Renegade/Paragon points? I had the choice on my paragon playthrough, using the paragon dialogue.
I think you need max renegade/paragon to do it.
I was a little into the last bar of renegade, and it didn't give me the option.

Wait...I don't have my armor on while talking to Morinth. Does that mean I still get the negotiation bonus or no?
I´m about to go on that mission soon, I shall see it myself then.DefCon-17 wrote:

Oh, and Urz just lost a fight. He lies in the med-bay now and both teh Doc and Mording say he will be fine
God fucken damn, the ammo system pisses me off to no end. Playing as an infiltrator is a pain in the ass. I have to constantly switch between the stupid Hand Cannon and the Widow in order not to waste a precious sniper bullet on a half dead enemy.
I mean, jeez, I´m an expert marksman, specialist in the use of sniper rifles and I can´t manage to carry heat sinks worth more than 12 rounds?
The regular pistol was well good until half of the game, but now it just lacks stopping power. So does the retarded SMG (I hate that piece of shit with a passion), which results in me being stuck with default weapons I can´t use.
The semi-auto sniper does come with more bullets, but I just don´t like how many shots it takes to end the tougher adversaries. Especially those with shield and armor.
So I´m forced to NOT use my class specific gun half the time at least, who came up with that brilliant idea?!
I had to run around with the SMG exclusively on some missions, cause the heat sinks were so scarce.
And seriously, why can´t I start a mission with full heavy weapons ammo? I fought two heavy mechs on the citadel on hardcore with 99% on the Cain. 99%!
They better drop this shit for ME3, or I will go postal.

Absolutely agree. I cant fucking stand the new clip systemSisco10 wrote:

I do hate the way weapons like the sniper rifles and shotguns carry pitiful amounts of ammo. I think the clip system itself is fine, but these stupid limits are annoying.
And yes I see no reason for you to start missions with half your heavy weapons ammo missing. It seems pretty stupid.

The "real" trouble starts once you have 2 scions raping you from a distance with their stun-guns while 10+ husks munch away on you...

I tell you that reaper IFF mission is hell on insanity

SMG rapes pretty decently once you upgrade it a few times.
But yeah, besides looking cool, the clip system is idiotic.

So you're basically saying that your infinite ammo mod was pretty gay and not the system itself?
I like having clips more than overheating. It means that I don't need to stay in cover for 10 seconds waiting for my sniper rifle to cool down before I can shoot it again.

I'd rather stay in cover for 10 seconds and be able to use rifle constantly, instead of running around the map with an SMG wondering why this is called a sniper class.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Yeah, the reloading system is pretty good, I prefer that over "waiting" too. But the amount of ammo you carry is total shit, especially if the only way of replenishing it is by picking up clips through random drops.
I think I was able to use the Cain in my last playthrough with a total of 2 times, due to the rarity of power cells.
