No it is not, you are inside a different Ward than you were in ME1 and you don't set foot in anything but the embassey area of the presidium...

And I am mad at all the messages you recieve from ME1 characters saying "stop by and see me" when you can't go there
Aaaaaaaaaand that's exactly what I meant....

You can see where you went but you cant get there

Oh by the way I dunno if this has been posted here or not. The thread's too long to check.

Anyway Dr Pepper (in the USA only) had this promotion going with EA where you could download 3 extra in-game items if you bought the Dr Pepper. Anyway it turns out the codes are static and anyone can use them:

http://hellforge.gameriot.com/blogs/Hel … -DLC-Codes

I downloaded all 3 items and use one of them on my character. It looks ridiculous but for 5% extra biotic power damage i'm willing to look like a.. I don't know what.

I get a good laugh out of all the cutscenes as well .

did I read the comments right when it says I have to create seperate Dr.Pepper accounts for each code? :b

Yep.

It only takes a minute each time. In fact I think you only have to change the email address in the details and it'll let you create a new account.

The goggles are totally worth it though. They are the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen, and yet I can't bring myself to remove them from my Shepard. They are mesmirising.

How much has the character-progression changed since ME1?

Like, in ME1 you had a bunch of skills that you put points into when you leveled up and the class you were determined which skills you could train in.

I'm asking this because while I understand ME1 was an Action RPG, I want to know exactly how much RPG is in ME2.

Leveling up isn't like in ME1, you don't get XP from killing stuff, only by completing missions. The skill points system is still there, with fewer skills overall. This is compensated for by the fact that these skills are now actually fun (vanguard charge, fuck your shit)

It's got none of the bullshit I didn't enjoy in ME1. No being a spectre who buys full sets of armor from a poor salarian's market stall every other day. No randomly finding new weapons left right and centre. And none of the inventory managing that goes with it. I like it, you're supposed to be backed by an insanely rich corporation, so instead in ME2 you start off with top-tier gear then improve it through research and adding minor upgrades from some shops. Makes much more sense.

LMAO the Cerberus daily news talks about the superbowl. NY Giants vs Beijing Dragons.

P.S., Dl'd all the dr pepper stuff, and I still think the Death Mask owns them all.

I think the limited weapons "feature" is retarded.

There's like....two of each, and than an extra on of each, but you can only choose one.

That and the clip system are my only real complaints about ME2.

Yeah, but can you have multiple romances? Cause to "get" jack, I´ll have to tell her I´m not interested in Miranda anymore, don´t I?

Also,
Spoiler (highlight to read):
the Collectors just assaulted the Normandy HOLY FUCK!
They also took everone, so how would I see Kelly lapdance?

Also,

Spoiler (highlight to read):
HOLY FUCK THE COLLECTORS JUST ASSAULTED TEH NORMANDY!!!11
Jack / Miranda / Tali

You choose

Spoiler (highlight to read):
You rescue them in the final mission, if you do the final mission right after the attack Kelly survives, if not, only half the crew survives
Thanks, I´m afraid Spoiler (highlight to read):
only half the crew will survive, cause I finished Tali´s and Legions Loyalty missions first. Shame, I liked the engineer duo

it's weird, i chose all the right members. Legion for the vents, garrus as a squad leader, jacob to lead the crew back to the ship. Yet i still lost 2 crew members, both were loyal.

I did the same thing and Mordin died. I replayed a second time and everybody survived. I guess sometimes they're just unlucky.

Miranda leading the squad is better coz she has leading ability.

So does Garrus. Even better in my opinion, leading a 12 men team on omega with remarkable results.

So, no matter how good you choose, there is always some random luck involved? Hm...

Send Mordin as the escort. Anybody loyal will survive that. Also there is a random chance he might die in the ensuing fights if you didn't send him back to the Normandy.

Yeah, I´m thinking about reloading that savegame, to make him alive again. Havn´t decided yet. I´d like to see him in ME3 though, and this playthrough was my White Knight one, going all Paragon from ME1 to 3.
