I'm trying to make a favicon for my website but I can't get the ICO format to function in CS3. I've tried downloading the plug-in from several sites to no avail.

I'm using Vista 64bit
The favicon must be ICO, I don't want to do it as a GIF, etc.
I've made sure to either restart Photoshop or not have it open at all before installation of the plug-in.
I've tried restarting the computer.

Help?

I too, have failed at finding this.

I believe I just ended up making a PNG image and using a PNG -> ICO converter...

I am the author of the plugin.

@.Sup: You must have been using it incorrectly. The plugin correctly generates all forms of ICO transparency (1-bit and 8-bit). See README for details.

@OmniDeath: The 64-bit CS4 version is now downloadable from my site, http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat

Contact me if any questions.
