It's cool to see how your times have changed on before and after the reset though.

Before my reset, my most played classes were Spy and Sniper, then Engie. Rest weren't worth mentioning.

Now after the reset, I barely have any Engie hours, and Pyro is now my 3rd most played (inspired by Don Newman and Huey Lewis).
Spy and Sniper are still at the top though..
So before reset your most played was spy and sniper and after the reset your most played was spy an sniper

exciting
Well ignore those.

I'm just saying....it's interesting to see how (excluding me and my two "career" classes) your time ratios change.

I haven't really seen mine change much, Everything is pretty equal when I play. I usually end up playing the class that noone else is playing

I reckon my most played stats would be completely different if I reset them.

Just now my top 3 are Medic, Engy and Scout, with Soldier 2nd bottom. But Soldier is the class I play the most these days, and I haven't really played Engy for over half a year.

My most played class is Soldier.

Second most played is Heavy, with half that.

If I reset my stats now my most played class would be Soldier.... I just like the rocket launcher.

Pffft, flaunting hours now, are we?

Spy: 228
Sniper: 212
Engineer: 110
Soldier: 90
Pyro: 80
Scout: 50
Demoman: 50
Medic: 28
Heavy: 20

Unemployment works wonders.

I used to share TF2 with my brother, so they're not 100% my hours. More like...80-90%.

You can discard 300'ish of those hours as useless pub-nub classes with no use in a proper team at all (Spy, Engi)... then you have 212 hours as a sniper- sniping what? Pub players probably on 24/7 2Fort and Goldrush, okay. That leaves you with a modest 90 hours as Soldier (useful in all terms), 80 hours as Pyro (err, ok) and 150-something hours with pretty useful team classes.

Deflated sense of 'achievement' yet? You could have spent those 1,000 hours becoming actually good at the game instead of indulging in useless pub-hero activities and lonewolf solo play. D'oh!

It's funny how Uzique thinks he's the TF2 ubermensh when he only plays as the class he's good at.

Come back when you are God's gift to the universe with all the classes.

Err what? I play all classes... haha.

My stats have been reset so maybe you're missing out on something. All of my league experience and 2 seasons were spent playing Medic - the keystone of every team, that gels all the other classes together, calls the pushes/defenses, and manages the entire team's actions. I know how to play every class to a high level and don't need 100hours in fucking 24/7 Dustbowl servers to validate that . It's funny how you think meaningless Steam Community stats accumulated playing with and against shit players makes you think you're more well-rounded, compared to my exposure and cooperation with some of the top players in the EU.

Besides, I think you're fundamentally missing the point. The top players in the world will all tell you it's better to be good at 2-3 classes (and a versatile selection at that) than to try and cater to all playstyles. Everyone has their niche and speciality, the high-end TF2 scene is far too competitive for there to be any miraculous 'all round pros'.

I have more fun than you.

I win.

And I never saw your Steam stats and I don't care enough to look. You just always go on and on about how you are so good as a soldier than you can jack off to yourself while playing it.

You really don't; have fun raging at widespread incompetence and being dissatisfied with easy and meaningless steamrolls... I enjoy competitive TF2 not for any form of 'ego', I enjoy it because the quality of gameplay and the challenge is more exhilarating. It's more 'fun' to beat a well-accomplished team and it gives more of a virtual adrenaline-rush to be up against someone that's good, instead of yawning as you stroll through an average normal server killing the swarms of idiots that only recently picked up the game on the last (frequent) free-weekend. Keep telling yourself that though, fun isn't really quantifiable and if I have enough of it doing what I do in order to play the game for 1000+ hours, then I must be doing something right for myself, no?

Haha "fun" argument again: see above, it fails majorly.

Miggle PUG's aren't really matches, they're just properly-balanced public games.

By the way Defcon, my post was tongue-in-cheek because you were 'flaunting' your figures. It was fun to deconstruct the shittiness of your stats.
