Actually not. I used to live in the suburbs with my parents and every going out turned me off because of the long drive (or worse public transport) I had to take. After all, staying in, enjoying a good round of Battlefield is far less hassle, right?
Now I live closer to the center and its a breeze. Meeting people is really easy (poeple my age that is) and theres no problem to meet up for a quick lunch or coffee since the distances are smaller.
Also, the locations to mee are mostly better
