Yeah I agree the biggest thing I noticed is hit reg with snipers and rockets. I stopped sniping because I couldn't count on a spot on headshot actually counting.

You gotta be the host. Then theres no lag for you, only for the other players. No use in sniping otherwise. Had the same issue with a friend of mine who played it with me regularly. But even as soldier, it´s annoying, cause I scored all the kills right under his nose
