Like I would get laid even in games.
What an incredibly good piece, best money I spent on a game in the last time. The narrator alone is worth it.
You may not focus on your character, but if you play it in third person at all you're still staring at its back and it registers at some level. If Batman wore a manskirt and a frilly cape in that game, Arkham Asylum would probably be less popular.FFLink wrote:

Jesus.
pew pew, you filthy birds!

This game still impresses me and I still love playing even 7 years later.
Edit: Valve have updated the source engine for the game to version 15. It was at version 7 last time I played it.

I'm sorry, Gordon...
You'll just have to wait until after the test.

Deputy of the Sinestro Corps, I guess. Just ring-toting. Don't think you can get the logo and all, green lantern or otherwise. As it turns out, I didn't use the name. Seems a lot of nonsense names are already taken, so I had to make one completely up. Villain, of course. Flying (obviously), 1-handed weaponry and hardened light. Works for Circe.
My next guy was going for Superman or the Joker, but the game likes to crash when you alt tab, so I'll have to redo all the settings for him.
I wish gal tags worked with steam screenshots...
Above post:
Milicent McMahon
Mentor: Circe
Abilities: Flight, light and one-handed weapons.
Haven't thought of anything for a batman-trained character yet, but I'd like to play that one seriously. Anyway, filled the rest of my slots with level <8's.
Here's a rundown on the kinds of costumes you can build from the start:
1) Tights
2) Street clothes
You can build onto this later with bits of armor and gear stylized towards one of the main characters, it's just frustrating when all you have to choose from at the beginning are jeans, t-shirts and wetsuits.

Character creation could have used more variety. Your selectable palette being limited to only three colors for most of the entire set is annoying at first, but understandable. There's a lot less retarded combinations running around the game than there are in games without that limitation. Unfortunately, the costumes are pretty limited compared to City of Heroes, in which you can make all kinds of crazy shit. Not to say DCU doesn't offer customization choices not available in City of Heroes, just that the overall list is shorter.
Doctor Jangles
Mentor: Superman
Abilities: Super-speed, martial arts brawling and sorcery.
Flower Childe
Mentor: Three guesses who...
Abilities: Super-speed, nature magic and two-handed weapons.
Heavy Red
Mentor: Lex Luthor
Abilities: Acrobatics, tech and rifles.
Georgia Minerva
Mentor: Wonder Woman
Abilities: level 99 troll, flight, light and hand beams.

Eye-eye-eye, this game is violent.
Did you take an eye?
can you guess what graphic engine they are using?
They've been plastering "FROSTBITE 2" all over everything as much as DICE did with BF3... I think most people who even rarely glance at gaming news-sites know what engine it uses >.>
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
They brought the Annoying Sun Glare and Torch/Spotlight glare....so fuckin annoying.
The game does look good and is so fun.

Add Starfleet uniforms and the illusion will be complete.
I'm on a boat...
a sad depressing little boat.

More screenshots from my "yellow lantern." DCUO is an unquestionably good-looking MMO. Wings are bigger than in the previous screenshot, too. "Collectible" upgrade.
