I must say, that was pretty damn fun, a LOT better than I thought it was...

Very different from most games I've played, its like solving multi-dimensional puzzles...

The game was short too, which was nice, I beat it in 3 short sessions.

I was laughing a lot playing it, the part where you euthanize your cube, and then it tells you it invited your cube but the cube couldnt come, because you murdered it.

If you haven't played this yet you should totally do it, it's great fun.

Well I went into Portal thinking it would be the best two hours I'd ever spend and Portal was a LOT better than I thought it would be.

I guess he means something like that.

Yeah it's a good game godfather, try beating the challenge levels and after that there's a few mods for more levels, etc.

I really wish they made it longer, was kind of disappointed in it just because of that. I'm hoping for a Portal 2 where it actually has a long gameplay like Half Life and putting enemies in the game.

i believe they said there would be no portal 2.

Well if you put it like that, it sounds like a dick thing to do. If a game is at all anticipated then most people will have some sort of conception before they even pick it up, but that doesn't mean they're judging it.

Seems I was less up to date on the 'prequel' side of things but yes there is a new game on the way. It'll probably be years off though.

I liked the level where you had to lay one portal down a shaft and lay one beside you, jump down the shaft, and pop up through the one next to you and gain epic height.

Portal is one of the best games I've ever played. Simple gameplay mechanic + puzzles that make you think + completely immersive atmosphere = an amazing experience.

"Portal: The Flash Version" map pack is loads of fun, I recommend you try it. And it's probably 2 or 3 times longer than Portal itself.

Also, stay away from Portal: Prelude. Good god, that was the shittiest thing ever.
