You should've worded the topic differently. I highly doubt that anybody here feeds their pet solely "people food." I have a cat and if I'm eating a sandwich and he comes near me, I'll give him a small piece of meat. However, I hardly consider that feeding him since it's such a tiny amount of food. He normally just eats dry cat food...

now on the flip side my great-grandmother as a widow used to cook entire meals for her poodle.
Sometimes, but normally dog food. Her favorites are carrots, fries, and wasabi peas.

Both a cat and a dog get feed their own foods, but sometimes my stupid dog eats the damn cat food while the cat used to eat the dog food if she wasn't feed. Now the cat(Tess) pokes her head in the dry cat food bag if there ain't any people food she can get at or beg for, it is quite entertaining to look at. Both my animals do beg for food, so we give them a little bit.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
My dogs eat regular dog food but they sometimes get a piece of colby-jack (aka cojack) cheese when I make lunch.
