I recognize most of your post as sarcasm, but 911 is what woke America up to terrorism not Bush. Since Bush we have not had another terrorist attack in America. It took just 1 under this administration to start the war machine.....Under Clinton 5 or 6, and the American people still never heard of Bin Laden. But I will say Clinton did knock out a primary stratigic tent in Afghanistan, also a top secret recon. camel I think.

Well bottom line is that most of these terrorist organizations were trained on how to bankrupt major powers. Most of them were trained by the US during the cold war, to fight Russia. Now WW2 and this war have nothing in common, this war is more like the vietnam war(not really but have alot more similarities).  I've studied alot on military combat, and this war on terror can not be fought like this. All it's doing is making our armies weaker so if Iran steps up we are not going to have full Military capablities.

Horse More stable then it was? I don't see how any country with a full scale war on it could be more stable.

I haven't seen any news supporting terrorist camps in Iraq

Pounding sand with Million dollar missles? Well he was attacking targets such as training camps "fighting the war on terror with intellegence" it's seems better then checking sand for Explosives with our billion dollar army.

We fought in North Africa because the german army was there, again going after an army with an army. Now if I was in a battle with you(just an exp) and you were bringing your fist I might bring 3 people to make sure I beat you. Now if you and a few of your buddies had guns and bombs, I wouldn't get 150,000 people with billions of dollars of equipment to hunt you down. I would use brains not strength.

There have been cases of Towns massacring insurgents Who believed the reports of  "Local support "  our own media dishes out. They made the mistake of just strolling in."

Now this I totally belive, on both angles there sick of both sides being there.  One their standing up against the foreign fighters the US included.

Also, lowing our military bases over there are considered "America" and they get attacked on a weekly basis. It's not that america is safer it's just that the terrorist are fighting us with the tactics at there disposal. Do either of you, horse and lowing, belive that we are capable of whiping out an ideal?

Very good question Capt.fass1, alone no I don't..........but if the free nations of this world would join the cause and let the terrorist know they have no safe harbor, yes i think it can be controlled. Also, I think it is time to finally stop talking about Israel, they are our allies, but damn, you gotta admit, the Arabs really did get screwed out of their land and it is time to stop trying to convince them that they didn't. The world needs to listen. The problem is, no matter the dispute, there is no excuse to bring terror to innocent civilians. That is where they lose me for support or understanding.

Oh come on man this is like the second time you say I don't want to do shit about it . I've stated every time I thought Afghanistan was handled very well and the means of going to war were crystal clear , there was no question what had to be done and I was all for it .

Which brings on to a point of are we even "free" anymore? Basically the old Iraq's had more of a freedom then we did because they had a way of mobility away from problems. One of the issues with that we have here is the information age. Earlier in this country if you screwed up in one state(one of the little ones, not murder) you use to be able to get away from your state problem. Now all your problems follow you in worse ways then it use to. I have a meeting right now I'll get back to this in a sec.
