Anyone else getting any of the titles coming out from Jan-Mar? Some of them look fucking

I'm getting Killzone 2, Skate 2 and White Knight Chronicles, although it wasn't confirmed yet but it appears it's being released in March.

Sims 3 might be promising, ffs it's the Sims

If Empire: Total War, is the the game that I think I saw a trailer for, then it's worth getting, if only for the awesome looking naval battles.

It will be shit.

It will not kill halo, it will be incredibly highly rated and outsell Halo 3.

It has the Halo Name on it for starters, not to mention it's one of the only RTS's for consoles (for a reason)

Even if you look at the responses from the people on this forum to Fallout 3, the people who have played RPGs think it's nothing special, whereas the people who havent think it's the second coming of christ.

No game, no matter how bad, could kill the halo franchise. (proven by Halo 1 - 3)

And I disagree, while the Halo games were nothing really new, they did do a lot of things very well.

One shit game that fucks up the fundamentals and BOOM. No more Halo methinks. Halo Wars might float but I think the further Bungie gets from the Halo games the worse they will get. MS has already ditched it for Gears anyway. Gears is similar though: I.e solid fundamental gameplay that works, backed up by a PR effort to rival the Obama '08 election campaign.

Also: Don't be rippin on my Fallout3, it might not be a real RPG but I still like running about with Lincoln's Rifle, snappin mutants and listening to dodgy 30s-50s era music. Is a good game tbh. Can somebody PM me about where to find Dogmeat?
