One of the people who got to test it early actually uploaded it to a torrent site (I think demonoid has it) and you could install it to your 360 over a thumb drive or CD but I think they permaban you from XBL if you do that and if not permaban, tempbanned until the official release.

Well from my LEGIT copy of the NXE I can safely say that they stole it well. It's tons customizable and stuff, and the fact that they aren't midgets like the miis are a nice touch. (And also the look a bit more realistic/detail adds a unique sort of twist to it as well)

Old dashboard looked old and a bit "ppprrr00000 gam33333rrrrr" so I think them updating it is a good thing. However, the avatars are a stupid copy of the Miis, and the actual dashboard itself is an attempt to make it look more modern, a la PS3.
I think it looks alright, but they could have done better. Have fun with it.

i did start my 360 20 times or so, i decided to play some Halo 3 then the update began.
Im impressed, it looks really slick, and I find navigation easy and these avatar things are pretty cool.
I hope they bring out more stuff though...for free...

My Xbox is across the hall in another flat . I can't get in there.
Was up until half 6 last night playing Halo 3 and the Left 4 Dead demo with a guy. Then left the Xbox there.

I fucking love it. Really, I do. It's SO much faster, the keyboard is 10x more manageable, and it just looks so much cleaner.
