Nah. Orlando, Cleveland and Boston were the only elite teams in that division. Not much can be said for running through a pathetic Detroit team and a talanted but severely undermanned Atlanta team. Orlando should be Cleveland's first test of the playoffs. They aren't going to win every game by 10+, I'll tell you that much.usmarine wrote:

So glad the Celtics didn't win last night.
Magic-Cavs should be an amazing series.

Cleveland watched every Magic game, theyve been exploited and the Cavs will crush them in 5 games

Dude it's the 21st century...every team watches every possible opponent. There are few secrets in baseketball - it comes down to a teams ability to execute and adapt. The key for Cleveland will be if they can stop Orlando from spreading the floor with Rashard Lewis and Hedo - both are tall, lanky gaurds that can shoot the 3, which frees up a lot of room down low for Howard to either dominate or get offensive boards (or both). If Orlando can exploit that aspect of their team it will be interesting to see what kind of answer Cleveland comes up with.Locoloki wrote:

The ONLY reason Orlando beat the Celtics was they were shooting wide open 3's, and making them, (sadly the entire series was missed 3's by both teams) they built up a big enough lead right off the bat and game 7, and leaned on it. If they had missed those shots we very well could be looking at a Celtics Cavs matchup where I would still pick the Cavs to beat my beloved Celtics in 5. Orlando isnt going to get much of chance to shoot 3's seeings how Cleveland led the league in 3 point % defense. I would love to see Orlando try to run the ball to Dwight every time, unfortunately hes not dominant unless you count big dunks and second chance points http://www.celticsblog.com/2009/5/14/87 … -offensive And his laughable baby hook over Kendrick Perkins that hit off the top off the backboard and missed the rim entirely from 6 feet out is the worst hook I have ever seen. (This is after begging for the ball in the post after game 6 mind you)

Lakers settled down as the game progressed. Big win. Ariza's steal was huge at the end. Now it will be interesting to see how the Eastern Conference Finals develops.
clutch
They sure are running them over eh?
damn, I thought Orlando was gonna win for sure last night and go up 2-0 and then go up 3-1 and then finish the cavs off at home. But Bron Bron is good he has skill he is not a bad guy Ill take him over Kobey. Kobey seems to have a stick stuck up his ass. Plus Kobey still needs to win without Shaq. But yeah speaking of Lakers I think Nuggets might win 2 at home not saying they are gonna win both of them at home they are gonna win one but they havent lost lost at home during the playoffs at all so it ought to be good. But yea Lebron is better than Kobey, Lebron is the new Cobra and Kobey that other stupid snake no one knows lol. Kobra = the king of Snakes Lebron = the king of NBA fits him perfectly or Cobran!
Kobe's the Black Mamba. Should be a good game tonight. Let's see if the refs are as shitty as they have been the last 4 games.
yea I dont like how Kenyon Martin is starting to react or how he reacted the last series , thinking he is the shit hopefully he calms down a bit, if not I might sway over to the Lakers bandwagon lol. Dont like guys who think they'r the shit.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

We've already discussed this. You can't compare the players.
Mofuggin Lakes!!!
Kobe 4th quarter...vintage
Refs are still horrible. Let's see if the game tomorrow is any different.

Not looking good for the cavs, down by 6 in ot. Lebron is clutch though with those 2 free throw at the 0.5 mark in the 4th.
I like how he got bailed out on an obvious foul but Dwight Howard didn'tObiwan wrote:

Where are all the people to talk shit to me about Orlando not being legit? I called it half way through the season with the match up problems Orlando creates. Yeah, I'm that
Oh we'll Lebron is practically 5 players he can't do it all which he did. He almost had the buzzer beater again.
nba playoffs is

You're nervous? Lakers were favored to go wire to wire and anything less than a Finals repeat performance is a failed season in most people's eyes.Locoloki wrote:

It will be interesting to see how the refs call the game. The absolutely horribly officiating in the playoffs is getting absurd. I've watched most games of every playoff series and the only thing consistent about the refs is that they are terrible. I don't understand how the league can have players out there making millions of dollars to play only to be stopped by referees who feel the need to dictate the pace of the game. I wouldn't even be complaining if there was a modicum of consistency from series to series, game to game, or even beginning and end of games - it is truly pathetic and hopefully the league will do something about it. I don't know if you've noticed but NBA refs aren't getting any younger - and the game has changed a lot since the 1970's. Despite what some old farts here are saying about the golden days of basketball the reality is the game has become a lot less physical. I laugh when usmarine calls it a thug convention when the gameplay in the '80s was the most physical and dirty era in basketball. Casual fans will always posit the token drive-by statement about Lebron and the "rap concert" that is the NBA but for diehard fans like myself (I mean I'm nearing a two paragraph post here ) will love basketball regardless of new avenues the game persues and cultivates.
That being said, go LAKERS! KB24 all night long!
