Wait...Wasn't OH already an Admin?

Or are the ranks changed around on BF2s, usually a Mod is allowed to Edit/Delete posts, while an Admin can do that + Modify users.

If OH was a mod then how'd he ban meh?

Mods can Tempban + delete/edit content

Admins can permban, and do a fuckload of more.

Essentially as far as you are concerned moderators and up are gods. Administrators are given the ability to do things like make announcements, promote users to mods, and various other forum maintenance tasks.

But my information comes from modding punbb forums mostly ages ago, so I don't know how it is customized here anyways.
I do know PunBB gives a lot of power to mods, in comparison to for example phpBB which only lets mods edit and delete posts/threads by default.

chuy has it set up to rubber-stamp perm bans. We discuss many and most bans and ban reversals as a group, but any one of us can hit that ban button. Though Surgeon is right, mods can't unban, which is really more of a detriment to you guys.

Now we can get the ball rolling more quickly with things like ban reversals from accidental/very rare case of ban reversal and announcements for events.

Well, either I'm cautious to wield such awesome power for fear of making a mistake and crashing BF2s ... or I think the whole Beauty Pageant thing is gay.
