this game should be reasonable.... they had a decent engine to work with... so treyarch would've had to try pretty hard to dick this one up.
And here are your achievements (I checked ps3trophies.com, no trophies as of yet.):

"No Safe Place" and "The Professional" sound cool.

Oshi.. please don't say that is the 'airstrike'Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers.
I'd assume it's just a special thing for a mission. Sort of like the Javelin for CoD4's campaign.
Pre ordered the other day. Comes out the day after my 18th.

Gametrailers has a few videos of MP gameplay. The dog are awesome
Eh. It's gonna get annoying to hear dogs yelping/dying every 20 seconds.FlemishHCmaniac wrote:

The MP itself otherwise looks quite good. The stabbing action looks much better than it was in CoD4.
Yeah, it looks better than CoD4. Plus there hasn't been a good WW2 game since CoH, hopefully this will break the trend.Poseidon wrote:

I'll be getting this for the 360. I played Cod4 for the pc so I figured I'll get another first person for the 360.

Based on the pics/vids I've watched...
it looks like you will be able to use weapons from whatever country no matter what team you're on? I saw a pic of a US Marine holding a German G43 rifle.... and a Japanse guy holding a PPsh
I mean it worked okay for CoD4, being modern and all, but having the same weapon system for a world war 2 game would seriously fuck up the multiplayer. Russians battling Germans in Berlin, fighting with American and Japanese weapons... and vice versa. God I hope they fix that.
/sigh (not a big deal but really? lol they were calling this one realistic)

i could understand russians with any weapon they could get their hands on but yeah i think they should have it with each country can only choose from their weapons although almost anyone who picked up a mp 44 would use it till they ran out of bullets for it.Spearhead wrote:

I'm sure the game will still be fun, but if they're just going to throw authenticity out the window like that they might as well give us some M16's and AK47's, you know?
The Thompson will be the staple gun, like the M4. No one will use rifles because of all the spray and pray. The list goes on and on. They balanced it fairly well in the first and second CoD's but this will totally throw everything out of whack. I'm hoping its just for the beta and that they'll change it for the finished game.

Looks fairly shit right now.
Like they just reskinned CoD4 and added in new armies, weapons and some dogs.

yeah...i mean the flashbang equivalent is a signal flare... what?
10 more bucks for the 360 than the PC? WHAT!!!
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
I'm actually pretty 'hyped' for this game, a lot more than Modern Warfare, I just love WWII
However, Martyrdom is a big nono once again. Although I am looking forward to unleashing 4 or 5 german shepards onto unsuspecting Nazi and Emperial Japanese scum hahahahahaha

#60 games have always cost $60, PC games always cost $50.War Man wrote:

There's a little thing called licensing fees that a publisher needs to pay to the pwner of a console to be allowed to publish game for it. The cost of those royalties gets passed onto you.
Pre-ordered the game from GAME =]
Beta key tomorrow, hopefully

It isn't that simple. For example, PC games cover more initial price brackets than $49.99. Sometimes there's an added $10-$30 for a collector's/limited edition, and sometimes it's released for $10-$30 off what you'd expect.DoctaStrangelove wrote:

well the console versions generally cost the same $10-30 for their special editions.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

For pretty much any multiplatform game the console version will be $10 more than the PC version on release.
True, with historical exceptions such as a $80 Doom for the SNES while the older PC release was $10-$20. To be fair, they weren't simultaneous, but still laughable.Miggle wrote:
