Single player no longer work :(

Hi guys and gals,

Any one know of any reason single player mode will no longer run for me? every thing I insert the disc it auto runs then enter single player mode and the it says no DVD/CD in the drive WHAT THE HELL???
I have borrowed a mates disc to try on and that does the same thing! Muliplayer runs just fine but i dont want to reinstall and lose my stuff on multi.
Any ideas?

Backup your multiplayer stuff from "my documents" and then reinstall.

all the CD/DVD's work fine in this drive.
I have just installed the game on my Vista 64 and it runs fine with my disc odd....

I had a very similar problem about a year ago, all disks worked fine except the BF2 one. Tried in a mates comp worked fine, tried his copy in mine and that didn't work either. In the end I had to get a new drive, although I still don't think there was anything wrong with it, it just wouldn't read BF2 disks very strange...
