So STALKER Clear Sky crapped out on me!!

I was playing yesterday, all fine and well..you know, loving the game But then i go to play it later on and it wont load my save game!

So i look for some patches to see if they have any fixes and it turns out they do! I was so happy!! So i quickly downloaded it and patched. Now im all happy thinking it will load and i can resume my game When i go to load it says, ' Your last save is a different version to your current version of game'!!! Wtf tell me that now!

I spent hours doing the game, i got through Limansk and into the heart of the nuclear facility itself where i had to help in a firefight, where i flanked a mg nest which pinned them down, does anyone know how far away from the end i was?

Thats why you always check for patches before starting the game. Altho I've had to restart once due to patches. Want too fussed cos I'd taken it pretty slow the first time, n I have much better weapons this time round

Lol i did buy it, on friday

The graphics are stunning, the game is awesome, but its waay too short.

erm sorry to say this mate. You were not to far away from the end. In fact after that part and a chopper fight your chasing matey boy around the power plant.

You were five minutes from the end.

You might be able to get your save files from the STALKER directory, reinstall the game and add your saves back in, but I can't guarantee it will work.
